Café • Coffee
For a long time, the general consensus was that coffee in Paris was terrible. Fortunately, thanks to a handful of passionate individuals, that narrative is changing. The specialty coffee movement in Paris can be traced back to 2005 with the movement gaining momentum between 2011 and 2016. This period saw countless specialty coffee shops open across Paris, each one bringing its own unique element to a movement that was, and still is, sweeping the city.
Join us to learn more about the art of coffee from one of the city’s first coffee roasters. We start the morning with a pastry at our favourite neighbourhood boulangerie before taking a walk through the unique Parisian neighbourhood of Belleville for a coffee cupping in a beautiful roasting space with some of the coffee industry’s best.
An ideal morning for someone who wants to learn more about coffee, from sourcing to brewing, and to gain an insight into the culture of coffee in Paris.
